With complex schedules prohibiting access to traditional classroom-based courses, today’s maritime employees require a more flexible medium on which to pursue further education and skills training. Mariner Skills, LLC was established to accommodate this need. Mariner Skills courses are run on a leading online educational platform which provides seafaring and shore-side personnel the ability to take courses when convenient and at a pace that accommodates their schedules.

Mariner Skills’ online courses have been developed and designed with student-centric learning cycle in mind. Using Mariner Skills’ eLearning-content, students can study topics in the curriculum at their own pace. Topics contain animated video explanations and example problems to help students with different learning modalities. Throughout the program, self-assessment quizzes provide students with immediate feedback on their work and meaningful analysis of their level of comprehension.
